ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Audra is a 22-year-old independent author of young & new adult dystopian fantasy, naturalist, and American-based tour guide living in Fort Collins, Colorado. She writes books with any kind of magic, mundane and mystical alike, as well as dabbling in poetry. Her work is focused within the world of Gardian, a zodiac-based sword & sorcery high fantasy world that has been in development for 10 years, debuting in May 2025. She is most known for The Age of Scorpius, a highly anticipated novel that amassed her 100,000 followers on #BookTok three years prior to its release. Audra enjoys incorporating dystopian themes of censorship, social movement, and revolution into her writing. She is an awarded writer with over 10,000 hours of dedication in writing and world building.

Audra grew up as a military brat, and as a result of moving seven times throughout her childhood, many of her pieces seek to redefine the concept of home. Reading and escaping into fictional worlds was her coping method as a child in a constantly changing environment; naturally, she began to create her own worlds when she was 10 years old. When she went into college for a degree in restoration ecology, she found her passion for the Earth and became a naturalist. She has worked across the American West teaching ecology in Yellowstone National Park, the fjords of Southeast Alaska, and the Colorado Rockies. She draws inspiration for her fantastical words from the natural and often translates ecological knowledge into fun, digestible fiction.
